Peach Picking

A few weeks ago Bella had a craving for Peach Cobbler. We hadn't been peach picking in a couple of years, so we packed into the van on a hot, hot Saturday and drove over to The Peach Stand in York, SC. After 30 minutes of picking (and sweating off at least 30 pounds!) we took our bounty back to be boxed up. It turns out 2 adults and 5 little helpers can amass quite a fortune in peaches in a short amount of time:) We officially ended up with a bushel and a half which roughly amounts to about a million peaches! That was enough to make several cobblers, some for us and some to share with neighbors and friends.

Even Elijah enjoyed the day:)

Some of us worked a little harder for that perfect peach!

Once we finished we all enjoyed some much deserved ice cream.

And then a nap!

What cute little peach pickers! I don't think we have been since we went with you guys a couple of years ago! It was on my list to do this summer & I tried to get Jeff to go this Saturday, but with temps of 100, he wouldn't go for it!
That ice cream sure looks nice!
