March brought with it sunny skies and happy smiles!
And even a cute belly shot:)
A fun park day with friends to shake off cabin fever.
Oh these boys are just so cute!
March also brought basketball, basketball, and more basketball. Jeff even took the boys on a field trip to Tourney Town (Greensboro).
They had a fun time playing games in the FanFest area and even saw a familiar face:) Grandma came up the same day with her church group to watch the women's basketball tournament...
while Jeff and the boys went to a different arena to watch the HS boys basketball championships in which Cuthbertson (a local high school) competed.
Some found it more exciting than others, although to Nehemiah's credit he had been there for several hours. But the boys sure did enjoy their souvenir basketball.
These are high schoolers, seriously!
This month we also instituted Unplugged Sunday. The kids have to spend their time without tv, video games, etc. until 7pm when we have family movie night. Since Jeff and I are such fans of board games, we have tried to steer them in that direction.
There were also some fun days to celebrate in March. Bella got to dress up as her favorite book character for school and chose Knuffle Bunny.
And another mommy birthday!
The sweet friend of mine that did the girls Valentine pictures also took some Easter pictures with live chicks and a bunny. While the animals were adorable, Elijah HATED them and screamed anytime they came out!
One bunny picture:)
One of the only pictures of Elijah where he wasn't running and screaming.
If you are wondering where Calla was, she spend the day practicing for a county-wide choir event. Since the girls had their pictures done the month before, we decided that this particular day would just be for the boys. But it is just to hard not to take a picture of that sweet little Lyla!
Later that day we got to see Calla perform in a concert that took a few students from every elementary school in all of Union County and combined them into one amazing choir. It was an honor for Calla to sing and a privilege to get to watch her!
Finally, Easter was upon us. In the Davis Family tradition, we dyed eggs on Friday night to find where the Easter Bunny hid them Saturday morning. This way on Sunday, we can focus on the true meaning of the holiday, Christ's Resurrection.
Pretty:)
They are getting harder and harder to find.
Hummm, is anyone looking?
Victory!
My little miss in her Easter finest.
This year we hosted a lovely family Easter dinner with Aunts and Uncles and Grandma and Grandpa.
And we could hardly wait for the Carmel Pecan Carrot Cake Trifle and celebrate another birthday...
Noah's!!
