April started with a bang and kept going strong! Calla had a role in one of the skits that the 4th grade musical performed. The title was Superstar and it was very appropriate for this outgoing 4th grader! The kids sang tons of popular songs and did cute little skits in between.
Although I would love to say our crew sat quietly throughout the entire event, I would be lying. Instead we took the younger ones outside to the playground between scenes.

That same weekend we held Noah's football-themed birthday party. With so much going on in early April, his party got pushed back a few weeks, but it turned out great on a sunny afternoon.

After just a small portion that morning (basketball, football toss, spin casting, discus, long jump and softball throw) of all of the 23 games they have scheduled this week, we went back to my parents for lunch.
Sunday, Calla was recognized at church for her faithful completion of the children's bulletin each week. It was so wonderful to see so many children participating in the service!
Now we are looking forward to what May holds for our family.
