Delicious Nacho bar complete with chili, shredded chicken, cheese and every other possible topping! Even Jeff was jealous of the great food we had.
Cream soda and strawberry soda out of glass bottles, of course.
No detail was overlooked and even the decorations were edible. Peanuts, tootsie rolls and marshmallow baseballs in a jar of baked bean candies.
Instead of a cake, Rebecca made wonderful mini cheesecakes out of respect for my Gestational Diabetic diet! She even found a way to make them fit the theme:)
I am constantly overwhelmed by the generosity of friends and family.
Mom and Aunt Linda came to enjoy the festivities as well.
Even the favors were adorable, cracker jacks, Baby Ruth candy bars and little satchels made from baseball fabric. But the most impressive thing on the table to me were the baseballs. Instead of each guest signing a guestbook for the baby book, everyone signed a baseball that I get to display for Elijah. I can't wait for the doctor to sign it as well. What an amazing idea and truly a memorable shower.
