Apple Picking Fun

This past weekend was so wonderful I couldn't have asked for better. On Friday, the fantastic ladies of our Sunday School class threw me a baby shower. It was hard not to be overwhelmed by such an outpouring of love and generosity for new baby Davis, due to be induced on this coming Tuesday! With such a beautiful evening shower, we are now completely ready (clothing and diaper wise!) for this little guy to be born. On Saturday, we spontaneously decided to head to the mountains to pick apples at Sky Top Orchard. While the apples were plentiful and the day was gorgeous, the heat and the climb made for an abbreviated trip from years past. Next time we go, we will not forget the wagon!!

Lastly we spent a lazy Sunday napping and relaxing after church. This coming weekend will be pretty calm as well, as we anxiously await the birth of our son early next week. Maybe he will have other plans and decide to come early and spice things up! If not, maybe I will get all the last little things on my "to do" list done:)
