Asheville...B&B...Zzzzzzzzzzzz
Last week I celebrated my birthday and Jeff took me to Asheville overnight for a little R&R at a little B&B in the city. We started our trip early Friday morning with a stop at the Biltmore Estate. Thanks to my wonderful mother, we had childcare early Friday morning through Saturday afternoon.
After a lazy stroll through Biltmore and the gardens and a milkshake for 2, we toured the city of Asheville a bit before finding our B&B.
Our B&B was nice, the rooms were incredible and the food was fantastic. The hospitality left a little to be desired, but since I spent a good portion of time sleeping or napping and Jeff watched the basketball games, uninterrupted I might add, we managed.
After a lovely dinner and lunch the next day, we were back to reality. But what a relaxing getaway it was!

not just a day away, but a NIGHT away?! sounds wonderful! so happy you enjoyed peace and quiet and uninterrupted time to talk and eat and relax together! and, is there any place better to visit for a beautiful getaway than asheville?!
